Cultural practices are measures under grower’s control for the improvement of crop yield and their profitability. To distribute high quality products to markets on time, cultural practices must be executed in a precised and scheduled manner.

Uncontrollable factors such as weather, pest infestations, market fluctuations, etc., affects the bar of profit and loss for the growers. Prompt implementation of effective cultural measures such as planting, propagation, irrigation, fertilizer application endows the growers to reduce the productivity loss.
