Dense colonies can even occur on buds, flowers and young fruits without causing any visible damage to the plant. Infected bud shows whitish green patches on the surface without causing any visible damage. Whitish green aphids can be noticed on tender growth foliages, accompanied with white skin remains.Black sooty mold fungus grows on sticky honeydew- a semisolid excretion of aphids on upper surface of leaves.
