Shiny white/ brown patches on undersurface of leaves, heavy built up of mite population gives reddish look. Affected leaves may curl and fall gradually.Damage starts at the stem end, and the brown discoloration extends further than the cracking. The mites and their cast skins may be found in the cracks. The other blemish occurs anywhere on the fruit, and has no extra discoloration beyond the cracked area.
