Stem borer

Fruit: Pomegranate
Insect pest: Coelosterna spinator and Zeuzera sp.

Holes made by grubs are seen on bark of main stems. Grubs feed internally on sapwood while adult beetles are active by the day and feed by gnawing the green bark of shoots. Dry powdered material are usually seen near the base of plants.
