Stem borer: Bored hole in tree trunk
Pest: Coelosterna spinator and Zeuzera sp.
Symptoms
Single bored hole in the middle or lower portion of tree trunk from which powder comes out.
Control
Treat the holes by injecting with fenvalerate 5ml/l or dichlorvos 10 ml /l and seal holes with clay.
Spray quinalphos (0.05%) or chlorpyrifos (0.05%).
