Nutritional Disorder
Symptoms
Older mature leaves turn paler green colour. As the deficiency progresses these older leaves become uniformly yellow (chlorotic). Bulb size becomes small and unmarketable .
Control
If deficiency occurs in the field, foliar spray of urea @ 1.0 % or DAP 2% twice at weekly intervals recommended for avoiding complete yield loss.
