Potassium deficiency


Nutritional Disorder

Symptoms

Plants show drooping, yellowing of leaf margin. Prolonged deficiency cause necrosis from the tip and start drying towards the base. In severe cases the whole plant can collapse and die.

Control

If K Deficiency occurs in the mid growth stages, K deficiency may be corrected with foliar application of KNO3 or K2SO4 @ 0.5-1.0 % K.
